Trenton THP high profile evaporators
THP is Trenton Refrigeration's high profile unit cooler line, the largest of its walk-in evaporators. Seven application classes run from high temperature (25 F and up, 7 FPI) through medium and low temperature to three CO2 classes, with six defrost types and 208-230 V and 460 V in single and three phase. Every model carries 1 hp two-speed EC fan motors with SmartSpeed technology.

The number after THP is the nominal capacity in thousands of BTU/h. Unlike the other Trenton lines, it carries no fan-count digit.
Documentation history (2025 to 2026)
Generations D and E
The older bulletin (October 2025) is titled generation D and E and keys its tables D. It defines D as A1 refrigerant AWEF compliant and E as A2L refrigerant AWEF compliant, and carries the CO2 classes with coils certified for 650 psi. The generation E bulletin (August 2026) defines E as A2L and A1 AWEF, restricts air defrost to the high temperature class, adds an A2L refrigerant detection system and a factory-installed distributor nozzle, and lists no CO2 class.
