Affiliate disclosure

Some part pages on CrossRefHVAC carry a link to buy the part from a seller. Where the seller runs an affiliate program, CrossRefHVAC earns a commission on purchases made after a visitor follows that link. The price the buyer pays is the seller's own price; the commission is paid by the seller and adds nothing to it.

Every such link sits in a section headed “Where to buy” with this disclosure above it, and every such link is marked as sponsored in the page's code. A link that is not in that section is not an affiliate link.

Today that seller is Zoro, whose affiliate program runs on the CJ network. The link carries a tag that tells Zoro the visit came from this site, and the network sets a cookie in the visitor's browser to attribute a later purchase, as described on the privacy page.

A commission does not change what a page says. Specifications and fitment records come from manufacturer documents and are stated the same whether or not a seller carries the part, and a part with no seller link is still documented in full.
